Community Guidelines
Educational support, not medical care
The Solh Sleep Program provides general sleep education, stress-management practices and self-guided exercises. It is not a medical device, medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or crisis service. Completing the program does not replace an assessment by a qualified health professional.
When to seek medical advice
Please speak with a doctor or qualified sleep specialist if you have persistent insomnia or disturbed sleep, loud snoring, gasping or breathing pauses, severe daytime sleepiness, unusual movements during sleep, or symptoms that affect your health, safety or daily functioning. Seek urgent local help in an emergency.
In a crisis, this program is not the right place. Call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (free, 24×7) or emergency services on 112.
Medication and individual differences
Do not stop, reduce or change prescribed medication because of information in the program. Discuss any medication questions with the clinician who prescribed it. Sleep needs, health conditions and responses to practices differ from person to person. Stop an exercise if it causes discomfort and seek appropriate professional advice.
Deep sleep and REM sleep
The program may explain deep sleep and REM sleep and discuss general habits associated with sleep quality. It does not measure sleep stages or promise a specific increase in deep sleep or REM sleep.
No guaranteed result
The program offers a structured way to learn and practise. It cannot guarantee that you will fall asleep faster, stay asleep, feel rested, or resolve a sleep condition. Your outcome depends on individual and medical factors, and may require support beyond this program.
