STREFFIE Unveiled: Transforming Stress Monitoring at India Mobile Congress 2024

At the India Mobile Congress 2024, we introduced a groundbreaking innovation in stress monitoring—STREFFIE, our AI-powered tool that measures stress in real-time using facial recognition technology. The insights we gathered over the four-day event were eye-opening, revealing more than we could have anticipated. ✨🤖

Day 1 (15th Oct): We measured the stress levels of 97 attendees, and the average stress score was 0.64.
Day 2 (16th Oct): With an expanded reach, we measured 192 people and noticed an increase in stress to 0.70. 📈😮
Day 3 (17th Oct): STREFFIE measured the stress levels of 213 attendees, revealing yet another rise to 0.735. 😳🔍
Day 4 (18th Oct): The stress levels spiked again to 0.745, this time among 122 attendees. 😟🚨
The continuous rise in stress levels from Day 1 to Day 4 forces us to ask some crucial questions: What caused this consistent escalation in stress? Let’s break down a few potential factors:

Crowd Density and Human Interaction 🤯👥

As the event progressed, the number of attendees increased significantly. Crowded environments naturally elevate stress levels due to heightened noise, lack of personal space, and sensory overload. On Day 2, as we measured nearly double the attendees from Day 1, it’s clear that the sheer volume of people and increased interactions contributed to the spike in stress. By Day 3 and Day 4, with so many people, the situation intensified even further, pushing stress levels to a higher threshold.
